How to increase the number of rows returned by the 'Transactions By Date' stock enquiry

Created on  | Last modified on

Summary

The enquiry can return a large number of rows, depending on the selection criteria, which are loaded into the enquiry in batches of 300. This article explains how to increase this limit.

Resolution

The recommended way to increase the limit is to create a new inquiry screen:

1. Go to Parameters - General Parameters - Inquiry screens and expand SMJ transactions by Date from the left list

2. Select an existing Inquiry screen to duplicate and enter a new Screen code and amend the Number of lines as required.  Validate the screen.  (Please note if you name your screen STD or ALL, it may be deleted and replaced by the standard in future patch updates)

3. Go to Stock - Enquiries - Transactions by Date and click on Criteria in the top right of the screen
