Following a disruption of the bank feeds service, you can resume the connection in Sage 50 Accounts.

Description

If your bank feeds service is disrupted, you can re‑enter your login details to reauthorise it. This usually happens when your bank updates Open Banking.

Resolution

Log in to Bank feeds

  1. Open Sage 50 Accounts and go to Bank feeds.
  2. Choose the bank account, which you use for Sage bank feeds. 

You'll then see the message 'Re-authorization required. You need to enter your online banking information to retrieve banking transactions.'

  1. Press OK on this message.

The software opens your bank's software window. 

  1. When prompted to re-authenticate, enter your bank login details.

You'll then see the 'Success! Re-authorization may cause a delay in retrieving new transactions. Any available transactions will download now. Try again later to retrieve more transactions' message.

  1. Press OK on the message.
  2. You can now download your Bank feed transactions.
