You can't currently retrieve Santander bank transactions into Sage Accounting because of a live connection issue. Use this workaround to disconnect and reconnect using the Santander bank feed.
A live incident is impacting the Santander bank feed in Sage Accounting. The issue stops Sage Accounting from retrieving Santander bank transactions into your bank activity.
This workaround disconnects your existing Santander bank feed and reconnects it using the Santander (Connection powered by Sage) bank feed option. This restores the download of new Santander transactions.
Before you start:
- Disconnecting the bank feed clears all transactions in the bank feed
- Process any draft transactions in the feed that you want to keep
- Disconnecting the bank feed disconnects any bank rules; you can reassign them from Manage bank rules after you reconnect
NOTE:
If you use foreign currency bank accounts, you can't connect those accounts to bank feeds.
- Go to Banking, then find the Santander bank account you want to fix.
- Select Actions in the lower right-hand corner, then select Disconnect bank.
- In the confirmation window, select Disconnect.
Your Santander bank feed now disconnects from Sage Accounting. - Find the same Santander bank account tile.
- From the Actions dropdown menu, select Connect to bank.
- From the list of banks, select the Santander (Connection powered by Sage) bank feed option.
- Choose the correct Santander account type, then select Continue.
- Read the terms and conditions, then accept them when you’re ready.
- Select Continue to go to the Santander login page.
- Enter the details requested by Santander, such as your online banking username, password, account number, and sort code.
- Complete any extra security checks.
- When prompted, enter the date you want to download transactions from. Most banks let you download up to the last 90 days.
For security reasons, Santander can ask you to re-enter your online banking credentials every 90 days to keep the connection active.
After the feed starts downloading transactions again, review your bank activity. Reassign any bank rules from Manage bank rules if you used them before the disconnection.
