Description

Remote Data Access (RDA)

Sage has removed RDA from Sage 50 Cloud. Sage 50 Cloud is now fully online, so users can access the company from any web browser without linking multiple machines.

Manual Software Updates

Sage 50 Cloud installs updates automatically, and it notifies you at login about any upcoming version upgrades.

Emailing

Because Sage 50 Cloud runs in a virtual environment, it no longer supports Outlook emailing, but you can still send emails using SMTP.

Printing

Sage 50 Cloud runs in a virtual environment, it can no longer connect to your local printers. You can still print them by downloading the file first and sending it to your local machine for printing.

Export reports from Sage 50 Cloud

Instead of opening files directly in Excel, the system uses file redirection. This means exported files download through your browser into your default web browser downloads folder.

All other features of Sage 50 Accounts modules will work the same in Sage 50 Cloud.
