Summary

Turn auto-categorisation on or off in Sage Sole Trader to control how Copilot processes your bank transactions.

Description

Auto-categorisation is on by default. It uses Sage Copilot to assign categories to new bank transactions.

If you turn it off, Sage stops auto-categorising new transactions. Categorise them manually instead.

If you turn it on, Sage only auto-categorises new transactions. It doesn't change existing transactions.

Resolution

  1. Select Settings.
  2. Turn Auto-categorisation on or off.
  3. Your changes save automatically.
