Known issue: Nominal link Pension override missing

Information on an issue affecting nominal link overrides in Sage 50 Payroll, on salary sacrifice pensions with no employer contribution.

Overrides let you break down the data your software posts when you use the nominal link function.

However, if your pension scheme is salary sacrifice and the employer contribution is zero, the Pension override doesn't work.

We're investigating this issue, and will update this article when further information is available.

Workaround

If this occurs, manually update the transactions in your accounts software.

Alternatively, you can avoid this issue if you amend the employer pension contribution for this employee to a 1p employer contribution.
