Mark your calendars and earn your Management Reports 2025 digital badge.
Between 31 March and 10 April, we're running sessions that help you get to grips with management reporting in Sage 50 Accounts, from creating new nominal codes and running reports to using the Business dashboard.
Boost your knowledge, increase your confidence and earn your digital badge by simply attending at least five of the six topics available, plus a quiz session.
NOTE: Watching recordings don't count towards earning the digital badge.
NOTE: Attendance is tracked based on your email address, so please don't register using multiple emails as these will not be merged. If you can't access your work emails from another pc, simply forward your registration email to an email address that you can access.
#1 - Nominal records
Monday 31 March 2pm / Thurs 3 April 2pm - Duration 45 mins
Learn about the Nominal codes ledger, it's structure and how to set up new Nominal records. We'll also cover the options available within a record.
#2 - Working with the Chart of Accounts
Tuesday 1 April 11am / Monday 7 April 2pm - Duration 45 mins
Having a good understanding of the chart of accounts is essential when it comes to creating new nominal records and running your management reports. We'll explain what the chart of accounts is, how to create new layouts or simply amend your existing one to help you personalise your key management reports.
#3 - The Trial Balance, Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet
Tuesday 1 April 2pm / Tuesday 8 April 11am - Duration 45 mins
Learn about the 3 key management reports in Sage 50 Accounts. We'll demonstrate how to run them, the structure and the information they contain and explain how they calculate.
#4 - Running management reports for a previous or future financial year
Wednesday 2 April 11am / Tuesday 8 April 2pm - Duration 45 mins
Learn about the options for running your management reports for a previous or future financial year. For example, generating a P&L when you haven't yet ran a year end. We'll cover the standard management reports, using an archive and also the transactional based management reports.
Note: Transactional based management reports are not available in Sage 50 Accounts Essentials.
#5 - Reconciling your aged debtors and creditors reports
Wednesday 2 April 2pm / Wednesday 9 April 11am - Duration 45 mins
Reconciling your aged reports against your month end and year end management reports is a common task, ensuring that the figures match. However, there may be occasions where this is not the case and this is a query we regularly support our customers with. Join this session and you'll learn how to check your figures and if there is a difference what to look for.
#6 - Business Dashboard
Thursday 3 April 11am / Wednesday 9 April 2pm - Duration 30 mins
The Business Dashboard is a great feature that gives you the key business data you need at a glance. There are dashboards you can use straight away, or you can dive right in and create your own. It's really easy to set up and use.
#Quiz - Test your knowledge
Friday 4 April 11am / Thursday 10 April 11am - Duration 60 mins
Each round will be themed around the topics we've covered throughout this webinar series. It's the perfect way to challenge yourself, have fun, and see how much you've learned to earn your digital badge.
