Known issue: 120 character limit on service invoice details

We've resolved this issue when you enter an unlimited number of characters in the service invoice details, Sage 50 Accounts hangs.

In v28.1 - v32.1 of Sage 50 Accounts, an issue lets you enter an unlimited number of characters in the service invoice Details section. This causes the software to freeze and display the message eventually. The Description field has a limit of 120 characters on a service invoice.

'SBDDesktop is not responding.' 

We resolved this by adding a character limit to prevent the crashing.

Workaround

1. In the service invoice window, press the Arrow button.
2. Enter any additional text in the Details field on the Edit Item Line window, if required.
3. Press OK to close the window.
