Record donations

You can record donations by posting bank transactions, selecting the fund record to show the donation against.

To claim gift aid on donations, you must record the donation against a customer setup for gift aid.

This posts a sales invoice and sales receipt against the customer account. 

To record the donation:

1. Go to Bank accounts,
2. Highlight the bank record to record the donation against.
3. Select Donations.
4. Complete the Donations window as required, for example.

   Customer A/C	Date	Ref	N/C	Fund	Dept	Details	Net	T/C	Tax
   CUST1	01/08/2010	Cash	4000	FUND1	0	Donation	100.00	T9	0.00.

5. Press Save then Close.
