If you send monthly statements to customers, you can schedule them to send automatically. First, calculate a statement for the customer. For more information, follow our Customer statements article.
| Enable Monthly Statement | Select this checkbox to send your customers monthly statements. |
| To | The customers main contact email shows here by default. To add extra email addresses, separate them with a semicolon. Follow our article to change the default customer statement address.
|
| Cc | Your login email address automatically appears. You can delete or change this. |
| Message | A default email message appears automatically from Email Defaults. You can amend this, if necessary. Follow our article to set up defaults for your email messages. |
| Email statements monthly on day | Choose the day of the month you want to send the statement. The statement will include transactions up to the day before. If you pick the tenth, it will show transactions from the tenth of last month to the ninth of this month. If you want the statement to cover up to the last day of the previous month, enter one. This will include transactions from the first to the last day of the month. For example, a statement sent on 1 June will cover 1 May to 31 May. This is regardless of if the month has 28, 30, or 31 days. |
| Exclude zero balances | If you don’t want to include transactions that have a zero balance, select this checkbox. |
You’ve successfully enabled monthly statements. We email these to your customer on the day you specified.
