Delete an opening balance

Once you create an opening balance, you can't edit it. However, you can delete it and post a new one.

1. From Transactions, select Completed.
2. Select Change date range and choose Custom date range.
3. Enter a date range that captures your opening balance and select Apply.
   NOTE:

   The opening balance date is the last day of the previous tax year, for example, 5 April 2025.

4. Look for Opening balance in the first column, or use the Description filter to search for it.
5. Check that it's the correct bank account.
6. From Actions, select Delete.
7. In the pop-up window, select Confirm to delete this transaction.
