Edit transactions in bulk

How to save time by updating multiple transactions at once in Sage Sole Trader.

Use the Multi actions button within Draft transactions to edit, delete, or save up to 25 transactions at a time.

Editing transactions in bulk can help you align categories, dates, or details across multiple entries without the need to edit each one individually.

Watch our video:

1. Go to the Transactions tab and then select Draft.
2. Use the filters to show the transactions you want to update.
3. Select the Multi actions button to access bulk editing options.
4. Select the checkboxes next to each transaction you want to change.
   To select all transactions on the page, use the Select all button.

After selecting the transactions, you have several options:

• Delete: remove selected transactions
• Add or edit source: update the bank source for multiple transactions
• Add or edit category: assign categories to your transactions
• Save transactions: save your selected transactions to Completed
