How do I check if I'm 32-bit or 64-bit?
It's quick and easy to check which version you're running.
TIP: Windows 11 is only compatible with 64-bit systems. You can be confident you’re using a 64-bit system without needing to check.
- Click Start then click Settings.
- Click System. then click the About option in the left-hand navigation bar.
- Check the Device Specifications section for the System type:
In this example, the system is a 64-bit operating system.
