Reauthorise a bank feed

Summary

In Sage Accounting, you must reauthorise your bank feed every 90 days. This keeps your connection secure and ensures continued access to your banking data.

Description

After 90 days, your bank feed connection expires. Your bank requires you to re-enter your online banking credentials. 

Resolution

  1. Go to Banking, find the bank account that shows the reauthorisation message.
  2. Select Actions, then Reconnect to bank.

    TIP:

    If nothing pops up when you select Reconnect bank, make sure you've allowed pop-ups in your web browser.

  3. Follow the prompts to enter your online banking credentials and authorise the connection.

    NOTE:

    It can take up to 72 hours for transactions to start pulling through once you've reconnected.
