Update employee details in Sage HR Essentials

Most details in an employee's profile you can edit from within Sage HR Essentials. 

 NOTE: Changes you make automatically sync with the employee's record in Sage Payroll. If you update details within Sage Payroll, these automatically update in Sage HR Essentials. 

Below we explain what details you can only edit within Sage HR Essentials and which you can edit only within Sage Payroll.

• Emergency contacts
• Assign direct manager
• Assign a position
