Create shortcut icon for Sage 50 Accounts

If your Sage 50 Accounts icon is missing from your desktop or taskbar, you can follow these steps to replace it.

Create an icon on your Windows taskbar

1. In the Windows search bar enter Sage 50 Accounts.
2. Right-click the relevant version of your software.
3. Click Pin to taskbar to add the icon to your Windows taskbar.

Create an icon on your desktop

1. In your Sage 50 Accounts software, click Help then click About.
2. In the Program Details section, click the Program Directory path.
3. In the file explorer window, right-click the sage.exe file.
4. Select Send to > then Desktop (create shortcut).
