Employment verification enables your employees to access and share their payroll data.
This article explains what it is, and how it works in Sage Payroll.
Sometimes, employees need to provide proof of employment and income for some applications. For example, mortgage loans or rental agreements. Using employment verification helps speed up this process.
Employees can choose to share their employment and income information with our trusted third party when going through an application. Data is shared digitally, direct from Sage when requested. This saves you time and effort, whilst making the process simpler for your employees.
Every time you send a Full Payment Submission (FPS), new employee data uploads to Sage Payroll.
This is an automatic feature. The data then uploads from Sage Payroll and held within Sage for this purpose. This is in line with our Terms and Conditions and Data Protection Addendum. The security of our systems and networks is of paramount importance to us.
You and your employees will always be in complete control of your data. Employee data will only ever be shared when an employee chooses to, following the steps from application to verification. It’s only possible to use if the Employment Verification feature is enabled in Sage Payroll products and offered by the service provider.
NOTE: Once disabled, your employees can no longer use this feature.
