Resolution

Users are prompted with the below message when opening.

NOTE: The above situation is totally normal when the application is being installed for the first time or a update to Sage 200 Professional has been applied on the server.

It appears to be related to update KB5029649.
NOTE: The 'Known issues in this update' section describes this issue.

Microsoft have updated their documentation to a status of resolved as the issue should be corrected via 'Known Issue Rollback', this should be an automatic process via Windows Update for standard users but client machines managed by group policy will require configuration, instructions provided by Microsoft can be found here.

If a user experiences this issue, we would suggest restarting the PC to install any outstanding updates and if the prompt still appears, click to install and use the software as normal.

In some circumstances users are being prompted to install this daily, if that is the case, uninstall the program via Programs and Features then install again from the Sage share (C:\Sage\Installers on the Sage server)
