Error when editing company records with no primary contact assigned

In CRM 2023 R1.1 Removal of the primary contact within a company will prevent you from editing the company record. The steps below will show the resolution

When editing a Company within Sage CRM 2023 R1.1 that does not have a primary contact you will be presented with the error:

An unexpected event has occurred: Exception: Error - Record not found, you may not have security permissions or The record you requested has been deleted or you may not have security permission to view it.

You will be unable to edit the company record until you assign a primary contact.

To resolve this issue you can download and install the 2023 R1.2 update patch.

 CAUTION: This is a full install of the software so please ensure backups of the database and customisations are taken prior to installation. We would also recommend applying the update in a test environment first to ensure any customisation works as expected.
