Summary

Filtering, sorting, and searching in Sage Sole Trader helps you quickly find what you need without scrolling through your full list.

Description

You can sort your transactions by: 

  • Date: Newest to oldest
  • Date: Oldest to newest
  • Description: A to Z
  • Description: Z to A
  • Amount: Highest to lowest
  • Amount: Lowest to highest

Find below the filters available to you: 

Filter type What it does
Source Filter by a selected bank account source. 
Description Search transactions by description.
Total amount Filter by total transaction amount, minimum or maximum. 
Date range Choose from a set of date ranges or select a custom date range.
Created from Filter by the method in which you created the transaction. Manual, connected bank, uploaded receipt or invoice, or imported bank statement.
Transaction type (only visible in the Complete transactions area) Choose between money in, money out, or journal transaction types.
Categories (only visible in the Complete transactions area) Sort by the category you assigned to the transaction.

TIP:

View categories for split transactions by selecting Split. For journals select Actions then View.
