How to resolve this issue in Sage 50 P11D v28.01.
Description
If you have an employee without an entertainment benefit, their form P11D may incorrectly show X or Y in section N.
This only occurs on the P11D report you print or email. Your software submits the correct information to HMRC when you submit form P11D electronically.
To correct this, follow the steps below.
Resolution
- Download the updated version of the P11D report you require:
- Print report: Download P11D.report >
- Email report: Download P11DEmail.report >
NOTE: If you're prompted to select where to save your download, select a location that's easy to find, for example the Window Desktop.
- Copy the following path:
- C:\ProgramData\Sage\Sage 50 P11D\28.1\Reports\EmployeeReports\
- Press the Windows key and R on your keyboard.
- Paste this path into the Run window and click OK.
TIP: Your Employee Reports directory opens. The P11D report you need to replace is within this folder.
- Browse to your Downloads folder or the folder you selected to save the download.
- Right-click P11D.report or P11DEmail.report as required and click Copy.
- Right-click within your employee reports directory folder and click Paste.
- When you're prompted, click Replace the file in the destination.
You can now run the updated report and the issue is resolved.
