Resolution

This error appears if the p11ddataconn280.dll file isn't registered correctly, or it isn't installed to C:\Windows\SysWOW64 when you install your update.

Restart your computer

After you install your update you must restart your computer to complete the installation process and register dll files.

If you haven't done this yet, save any work on your computer then restart it. Try again to launch your software. If the error still occurs, continue to the Re-install as administrator section.

Re-install as administrator

Re-install your software using the Run as administrator option when you run the installer. For help with this process, follow the steps in our update Sage 50 P11D v28.00 to v28.01 guide.

If the error still occurs, continue to the Re-install with Anti Virus configured section.

Re-install with Anti Virus configured

The next steps require you to modify or disable your anti virus software. If you need help with these steps, you must contact your IT support.

In some cases, Anti Virus software prevents the installer from placing the dll file. To resolve this you can:

  • Configure your anti virus software not to conflict with your Sage software then Re-install as administrator again
  • Temporarily disable your anti virus software and Re-install as administrator, then re-enable it
NOTE: Ensure you re-enable your anti virus software straight after you've re-installed Sage 50 P11D.
