Known Issue: Fixed Asset Import Depreciation To Date is blank

Summary

We're aware of an issue in Sage 50 Accounts v29.0.252.0. The Fixed Asset Depreciation To Date value on the imported file doesn't import, so the value shows as 0.00.

Resolution

Workaround

  1. Open the asset record. Go to the asset where you need to amend the depreciation.
  2. Locate the Book Value field. You won’t be able to type directly into Depreciation to Date, so ignore that field for now.
  3. Re‑enter the Book Value. Even if a Book Value already shows, press into the field and retypes the same value. This forces the system to refresh its calculations.
  4. Save or tab out of the field. Once you confirm the Book Value, the system automatically recalculates the Depreciation to Date based on that value.
  5. Check the updated Depreciation to Date.

The field will now show the correct recalculated amount without needing manual entry.
