Summary
We are investigating an issue in Sage 50 Accounts v29 and above.
Description
After upgrading to Sage 50 Accounts v29 or above, the company list is blank on the Company selection window.
Resolution
This is caused by the company file not copying to the new settings directory.
To resolve this issue:
- On the computer where you access Sage Accounts, press the Windows key + E.
- Browse to the file called COMPANY in the relevant folder path below:
Version Company file location v30 C:\ProgramData\Sage\Accounts\2024 v29 C:\ProgramData\Sage\Accounts\2023 v28 C:\ProgramData\Sage\Accounts\2022 v27 C:\ProgramData\Sage\Accounts\2021 v26 C:\ProgramData\Sage\Accounts\2020 - Right-click the COMPANY file and click Copy.
- Close Sage software.
- Browse to the Company file location shown above for the version you've just installed.
- Right-click and Paste the COMPANY file into the relevant folder.
- Open Sage 50 Accounts.
