Check data warning - 'VAT ledger record data and index have different number of records'

When you check your data you may get the following warning:

'VAT ledger record data and index have different number of records'

This error appears if the VAT ledger and index have a different number of records. Let's fix it now.

1. Click File, then click Maintenance, then click Recovery Tools.
2. When prompted, create a backup.
3. Click Reindex and Compress All, click OK and click Close.
4. When prompted to check the data again, click Yes.

This will fix the corruption, however it won't bring back any broken or missing VAT Returns.
