On some landing pages, a message shows for some queries. The data update process may take time: it is therefore run as a batch task (task 57231) Please wait and refresh your browser (F5 key) You can press the F5 button on the browser to see the data correctly, but do not want the users to have to keep doing this

Description


Cause

The number of rows that the query must traverse to retrieve the results of greater than the SELWARN parameter value.

Resolution

  1. Navigate to Setup, General Parameters, Parameter Values [ADPVAL]
  2. Expand SUP Supervisor, Folder, and click on your folder name
  3. Click on the action card next to PRF Performances
  4. Choose Detail
  5. Increase the SELWARN parameter value (i.e. 10000)*
  6. Click OK, Save, and logout of X3
  7. Login again and confirm that your gadget refreshes without the waiting on data message

* There is a 7 digit limit to the SELWARN parameter.The SELWARN parameter must be set to a resonable value. If not set, the value default is 100,000
