Change your email address

How to change the email address used for Sage Payroll.


With a Sage account, you will access most of your xme email address and password.

Your email address will update for most Sage products and services.


 NOTE: For some cloud-connected services such as Remote Data Access (RDA), the update is not automatic. You need to update it yourself. 

  1. Select My Profile from the drop-down menu in the upper right-hand corner.


    Select Change your details.


  3. Select the Change your Sage account details link to open the Sage Account Management page (opens in new tab).

  4. Log in to Sage Account Management. Select Email address.

  5. Enter your current email address and password. Select Log in.

  6. Enter and confirm your new email address. Select Continue.
     NOTE: The new email address needs to be independent and not used as an email address to any other Sage product.

  7. We'll send a verification code to your new email address. Enter the code and then select Continue.
     TIP: If you can't find the verification email, check your spam or junk email folders. 


  8. Log in again using your new email address and password.

  9. A success message confirms the change.

Some products use your email address to link to other services. It can take a few days for email addresses to change everywhere.

 NOTE: You can also change your email address by going to the Sage Account Management page (opens in new tab). Then continue from step 4. 

Didn't receive the verification email

Select the Didn't get a code? Resend code link to resend the code.

If you still haven't received the email, it could be because:

  • Emails can take up to 20 minutes to arrive
  • It was received it but it went to your deleted items, spam, or junk folder
  • You've used the wrong email address or made a mistake typing
