How to work with logos in Sage Accounting.

Description

When you upload your logo, Sage Accounting optimises it to fit the logo area of your sales documents. 

We allow company logos and association logos. 

  • Company logos- Add your main business logo to show your brand identity on invoices and other customer documents
  • Association logos- Add logos for professional bodies, accreditations, certifications to highlight your credentials and affiliations

NOTE:

This topic mentions aspect ratio, which is the ratio of the image's width to its height.

Logo Requirements

  • File Format: Accepted formats are JPG, PNG or GIF
  • Business Logos: The ideal size is 280 x 200 pixels. Smaller or larger images sometimes effects quality.
    Ideal aspect ratio: 1.4, acceptable range: 1 to 1.8
  • Association Logos: The ideal size is 180 x 200 pixels. Smaller or larger images sometimes effects quality.
    Ideal aspect ratio: 0.9, acceptable range: 0.6 to 1.2

  1. Go to Settings, then Business Settings.
  2. Choose Templates and logos.
  3. Select Add a logo next to Company Logo, or Association Logos.
  4. Find your file and select Open.
  5. Review the information and select OK

NOTE:

Adding logos will only appear on new invoices. When you update an existing invoice, Sage Accounting uses the new logo. 

Problems after uploading

Different Shaped Logo

  • If your logo is round or unusually shaped, reposition it or zoom in or out in the preview
  • If needed, resize the image in an image editor and upload it again

Cut-off Logo

  • Recommended size: 280 x 200 pixels. Larger images sometimes get cut off
  • Adjust the position or zoom in or out in the preview area

Blurry or Pixelated Logo

  • If the image is blurry after uploading, adjust the aspect ratio by zooming in or out
