CIS - Return shows as overdue when it has been submitted

Why a CIS Return may appear with an 'overdue' warning after it has been submitted.

You can re-submit a CIS return that has already been submitted in Sage 50 Accounts. Because the due date of the return has passed the software will advise that the CIS Return is overdue. This occurs even though the return has been submitted already. The message is advising that the amended return is being submitted after the original due date of the return.

If this message appears, it is fine for you to continue with any amendments and resubmit the return as required.
