What is the purpose of the field ' Link Synchronization' in the function 'Patch Integration' ?

The link Synchronization checkbox synchronizes the links between classes and representations.
The modification of a data type during the patch integration would trigger this process.

The checkbox is ticked by default so I would recommend that this left checked.
