When applying a Sage X3 application patch using the updates function (Administration, Utilities, Update, Updates) the patch file is uploaded and appropriate folders selected for patching.
When pressing the "Apply update" button, the following error is displayed "The update failed with error:
The patch is already being integrated."
The update log contains the error.

The folder has the incorrect upgrade status in the (Development, Utilities, Patches, Update) (GESAUPD) function
1. Navigate to (Development, Utilities, Patches, Update) (GESAUPD) function
2. Select the folder in the error message from the left list
3. The Upgrade status may show blank or validating, press the status update button
4. The status will now display 'Error.'
5. Progress to apply the patch using (Administration, Utilities, Update, Updates)
