This article clarifies the use of Sage 200 demonstration licences. Our licences were changed, and new ones introduced with effect from 4th July 2022, differences in the licences are clearly called out in relevant places in this article.

These details apply to the following Sage 200 variants:

  • Sage 200 Professional - On premise
  • Sage 200 Professional - via Sage Partner Cloud Deployments
  • Sage 200 Standard

Sage 200 Standard

A 30 day free of charge is available – to find out more you can visit our dedicated page or contact your Sage Business Partner.

Sage  200 Professional (SPC) A 30 day licence can be initiated on a Partner's Azure infrastructure - to find out more  contact your Sage Business Partner.
Sage 200 Professional (on premise)We do not currently provide demo licences.

30 day trials cannot be extended and are not a substitute for a product licence. Where we identify repeat licence requests / generation for Demonstration licences steps will be taken resolve this.

Customers cannot operate a live usage copy of Sage 200 and also have a demonstration copy, except when changing their Sage 200 variant. For example, if they were moving from Sage 200 Professional to Sage 200 Standard a Demonstration licence of Sage 200 standard could be used.

NOTE: There is no automated functionality provided with a Disaster Recovery licence that would assist with the movement of database data from the live server to the secondary server that will be used for disaster recovery purposes. This remains the responsibility of the Business Partner and / or the Database
