Report Designer - Show Pay Now button on proforma invoices when using Opayo

Edit your Sage 50 Accounts invoice layout to show a Pay Now button on proforma invoices, to help you get paid faster.

With Opayo by Elavon, you can add a Pay Now button on your invoices to help speed up payments. It’s not shown on proformas by default, but if you want it there too, you can easily tweak the layout in Report Designer.

NOTE: This feature is only available to customers who use Opayo by Elavon, not if using Invoice Payments. 

Open your layout in Report Designer

1. Click Invoices and credits, select a single invoice, then click Print.
2. Browse to and select the Opayo invoice layout you want to edit.
3. Click Edit.

NOTE: If you issue a proforma with a Pay Now button, we recommend using a layout without a Pay Now button when you issue the invoice. This avoids your customer paying twice in error.

Amend your Pay Now button

1. On the Report Designer menu bar click Report, then click Report Properties.
2. Enter a new report name and description then click OK.
3. Locate and click the Pay Now button, usually within the INVOICE_NUMBER Footer section.
   
   
   
   
4. In the Properties pane, click Conditional Formatting, then click the finder button .
   
    
   
   TIP: If you can't see the Properties pane on the menu bar, click View then click the Properties pane. If the pane doesn't appear, you can Reset Default View option.
   
   
5. Click Edit, click Clear, copy the expression below, then in the Expression Editor,
6. Click Paste.
   
   (INVOICE.INVOICE_PAYMENT_ID = "" OR INVOICE.RESUBMIT_INVOICE_PAYMENT_REQUIRED = 1) AND (COMPANY.PROTX_ENABLED = 0 OR (COMPANY.PROTX_ENABLED = 1 AND (CURRENCY.BASE_CURRENCY = 0 OR INVOICE.INVOICE_TYPE_CODE NOT IN (0, 1, 2, 5, 7) OR AMOUNT_DUE = 0.0)))
   
   
   
   
7. Click OK, then click OK.
8. Click File, click Save As, enter a new file name then click Save.
   Click File then click Exit.

You're all done. Your new layout is available alongside your usual layout and will include a Pay now button for proformas also to normal invoices.
