What new information do we have to share?
We have the following updates to share with you:
- We have updated the overview document with additional information, and new FAQs.
- We previously communicated the retirement of Sage 200 CRM, this is being removed from the Sage 200 2022 R1 installation as communicated on our roadmap. Customers who need to upgrade and use Sage 200 CRM, will need to follow the migration path to Sage CRM we communicated previously.
- We have previously referenced further testing for Microsoft Edge, this was in reference to features that use the Internet Explorer 11 runtime to display web pages within Sage 200. We have concluded the testing of Microsoft Edge runtime, including in Internet Explorer compatibility mode and have concluded that this is not a suitable alternative.
- For reference Sage 200 will use the Chrome runtime to display web pages within the Sage 200 application.
- For reference Sage 200 will use the Chrome runtime to display web pages within the Sage 200 application. It is important to distinguish between a web browser application that can be used by an end user to browse the internet and a web browser runtime which is a piece of technology that enables web pages to be displayed within an application such as Sage 200.
- Patch availability – we will provide release dates as soon as we are able. Based on partner feedback we will make patches available as soon as they are ready. That means we won’t be waiting for all patches to be available before notifying you. Patches will be added to this knowledgebase article, please bookmark it. We’ll let you know when the first one is available and add them to the article as soon as they complete testing.
Please refer to the FAQ section in the overview document. If your enquiry is of a technical or support nature, please contact the relevant support team as usual. Alternatively, for any other queries, please speak to your Partner Account Manager.
