If your bank feeds service was temporarily disrupted following an incident, to get back up and running in Sage 200, there are a few simple steps you need to take.
Resolution
CAUTION: After you authenticate your bank account you may have to wait several hours before you download new transactions for this account.
Once this is complete, you can then download your Bank feed transactions.
Using Bank feeds rules
You may have set up Bank feeds rules to automatically post transactions into Sage 200 through the Bank feeds functionality.
To check if your rules are set to post automatically:
• Sage 200 Professional - Click Cash Book then click Utilities and click Bank Feeds Rules
• Sage 200 Standard - Click Settings then click Cash Book/Nominal Ledger and click Bank Feeds Rules.
To edit, on each rule, select to review transaction before posting. Doing this prevents any transactions being automatically processed in Sage 200 in the future.
The next time you open your Bank Feeds Reconciliation window, you will see the Bank Feeds Approval form, and you can Reject any transactions that you have already processed in Sage 200.
Mark the duplicate transaction as ignored
If you don't have Bank feeds rules set up, but have downloaded the transactions into your Bank Feeds Transaction window, you can highlight the duplicate transactions and select Ignore. This will remove the transactions permanently from the list of transactions that are waiting to be matched.
Correct or reverse the duplicate transaction if created
If you've already matched and processed these transactions, please see the guidance below for your version of Sage 200 on how to unreconcile and reverse the duplicate postings:
