Allow ex-employees access to payslips in Sage HR

Created on  | Last modified on

Summary

How to allow terminated ex-employees access to their payslips when terminated in a Sage HR company integrated with Sage 50 Payroll or Sage Payroll

Description

There is a setting you can apply in Sage HR integrated with Sage 50 Payroll to allow an employee to have access to their payslips after they've been terminated.

From their termination date you can grant them access to their payslips up to either:

  •  7 days
  •  30 days
  • 1 year

This means even when they have left the company, they can log into their profile on a computer to view their payslips for the specified amount of time you select.

Make your leaving employees aware that to access their payslips after they leave, they must use the Sage HR web portal, recommended on a computer. Your employees lose all access to your company on the Sage HR mobile app the day after their termination date.

Resolution

  1. Log into Sage HR Online Services as an admin, then click on your name on the top right.
  2. Click Settings.
  3. Click Permissions, then click Employees.

  4. When you select Allow employees to access payslips after termination you can allow a leaver to have access to payslips for either:
    • 7 days
    • 30 days
    • 1 year

NOTE:  This is from their termination date in Sage HR Online Services. Employees can access payslips if they have been terminated, but they can't access them if they've been deleted.
