What Microsoft licenses are necessary to connect elements like Power Bi, Power Apps or Power Automate or Outlook on the Virtual Machine with Sage 200 Professional deployed via the Sage Provisioning Portal?

To use the Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps) the Sage 200 provided custom connector should be used to connect the Virtual Machine in which Sage 200 is operating to the licence in the customer’s organisation.

The custom connector required the Sage 200 API to also be activate, To use the Sage 200 API, you need to have a specific M365 licence with AAD – you can find the list of support licence types in this article.

In all cases it is the responsibility of partners and customers to ensure licence compliance and to be aware that licence entitlements may change.
