Resolution

The issue should be resolved by restarting the virtual machine.

NOTE: Microsoft suggest that the virtual machine should be restarted at least twice each month, however, if there have been alot of amendments made to the site on initial setup, you may need to restart more often.

NOTE: If you receive this error with any regularity even after restarting the virtual machine on a regular basis, we suggest reviewing our Azure Virtual Machine Sizing Guide with your Sage partner.

If no user can connect to the virtual machine to restart, see instructions below on how to restart via Azure.

TIP: If you don't have access to Azure, please contact your Sage Business Partner or Cloud Service Provider.

  1. Log into portal.azure.com.
  2. Type Virtual Machines into the search at the top of the website.
TIP: If you have a large number of virtual machines in your subscription, it may be easier to use the Resources section of Azure, selecting the relevant site and finding the VM in this list.
  3. You should see the list of virtual machines connected to your Azure Subscription.
  4. Select the Virtual Machine name.
  5. You should then see a button for Restart, click this.

  6. Click Yes to the confirmation dialog box.

The restart will likely take a few minutes, once complete, attempt logging into the apps.

If the issue remains, contact your Cloud Service Provider.
