Retrieve a forgotten Microsoft Entra ID (Azure Active Directory) email address or password

Summary

There may be situations where you forget your Microsoft Entra ID email address used to log into Sage 200 Professional deployed via Azure, there are two methods described below on how to obtain this information. Note: Microsoft Entra ID was formerly known as Azure Active Directory.

Description

Method 1: Sage Provisioning Portal

The first method is via the Sage Provisioning Portal which will also reset the Microsoft Entra ID (Azure Active Directory) password, detailed below.

  1. Navigate to the Sage Provisioning Portal.
  2. Log in using your Sage account credentials.
  3. Navigate to the site list by clicking the Sage logo top left of the website.
  4. Select the Name of the site which will take you to the Site Details page.
  5. Scroll down to the Users section as seen below.

  6. Click the Pencil next to the user who requires the details, the below message will be displayed.

  7. Select Yes, the customer will receive an email like below to view their email address and new temporary password.

  8. The customer needs to click the link to access their details.

Method 2: Microsoft Entra ID

  1. Log into portal.azure.com.
  2. Click Microsoft Entra ID.
  3. Click Search your Tenant.

  4. Enter in the Sage Account email address the user uses to access the Sage Provisioning Portal.
  5. This will display the email address associated with it.
    NOTE: This will likely be an email address ending .onmicrosoft.com
  6. Click the User in the search results panel.
  7. Scroll to the Contact Info panel of the Users Profile, here you will see the users Sage Account email.
