Sage Provisioning Portal: User account has been locked

Summary

When attempting to log into an Azure Virtual Desktop app such as Sage 200 System Administration and entering the password incorrectly a number of time will lock the user account.

Description

If you enter the password incorrectly five times within two minutes, the account is locked out for 30 minutes.

If you do need to reset the password, you can do this via the Sage Provisioning Portal for the particular user.

How to reset the Azure Active Directory Password

NOTE: If you have the role of Customer User, you will need to ask a colleague who is a Customer Operations Agent or Customer Administrator to follow the steps or contact your Sage Business Partner.

  1. Navigate to the Sage Provisioning Portal.
  2. Log in using your Sage account credentials.
  3. Navigate to the site list by clicking the Sage logo top left of the website.
  4. Select the Name of the site which will take you to the Site Details page.
  5. Scroll down to the Users section as seen below.

  6. Click the Pencil next to the user who's password needs to be reset, the below message will be displayed.

  7. Select Yes, the customer will receive an email like below to view their email address and new temporary password.

  8. The customer needs to click the link to access their details.
