What to do if the main admin profile and employee profile become merged in Sage HR Online Services.
Description
When you set up Sage HR Online Services with a specific email address, this becomes the main administrator.
If you use the same email address in a Sage 50 Payroll employee record and upload payslips to it, the admin and employee profiles merge.
This causes problems such as:
- The main admin profile now has the employee's name details in Sage HR Online Services
- Any payslips you upload for the employee are on the main admin's profile
- The employee can only access their profile if they have the main admin's log in details
- An employee user now has access to view all other employees, including their payslips
- You can't change the email address for the merged profile
- You can't delete the employee in Sage HR Online Services as the main admin profile is permanent
