When you open your company data, you get this message if you haven't connected your company to your Sage account.
To access connected services like bank feeds, connect your Sage account.
Why connect to my Sage account?
Connecting to your Sage account allows access to cloud-connected features that can help you get more from Sage.
This includes:
- The option to work anywhere with an internet connection with Remote Data Access
- Linking Sage to your live bank account with Bank feeds
- Getting paid faster with Invoice Payments
Resolution
Who can do this?
Someone who meets the following criteria must connect to the company:
- Authorised by the business to register the data with their Sage account
- Access to the data as the MANAGER user
This could be the business owner, the system administrator or the person who manages the company data.
Connect your company
- Go to Settings, then User Management, then Users.
- Select User Name MANAGER then select Edit.
- Select Get started now with your Sage account, then Continue.
NOTE: If Get Started now with your Sage account doesn't appear, then you've already connected your company.
- Enter your First Name and Last Name then select Yes, I am the right person.
- Check your company information, then select Continue.
NOTE: Any changes you make to your company information will update the information in Company Preferences.
- If you have a Sage account, enter your email address and password, then select Log in.
If you've not set up your Sage account yet, select Create account.
- When complete, select Close.
You've now connected your Sage account to your company data and can start using the connected services features.

If you see the 'In order to access this company...' caution, the manager user must connect the company to their Sage account by following the steps above.
