This guide explains how to enter Covid related data in Sage Personal Tax.

Description

Sage Personal Tax has the functionality in v2021 to be able to enter SEISS grants for a "Self Employment", coronavirus support payments such as CJRS (excluding SEISS) and support scheme payments incorrectly claimed.

Resolution

SEISS grants

To enter SEISS grants, follow the process below:

  1. Go to the relevant Self Employment.
  2. Click Computation details and then click the Adjustment details tab.
  3. Complete the  Self-Employment Income Support Scheme grant details.

Coronavirus support payments

To enter Covid support payment, follow the process below:

  1. Go to the relevant Self Employment.
  2. Click Accounts Information and then click the Accounts Details tab.
  3. Enter your support payment as Other income/profits.

Incorrectly claimed coronavirus support scheme payments

To enter incorrectly claimed Covid support scheme payments, follow the process below:

  1. Go to Tax adjustments and charges.
  2. Click COVID-19.
  3. Enter your SEISS payments incorrectly claimed or Other support payments incorrectly claimed.

Entering SEISS payments incorrectly claimed can increase your payments on accounts total. Please speak to HMRC for further guidance.
