In Sage 50 Accounts within the Invoices and credits, Sales orders or Purchase orders module, you may find that currency symbols don't display correctly. For example, instead of a £ you may see other characters or a diamond shape.
This can occur if the Beta: Use Unicode UTF-8 for worldwide language support option is selected in the Windows Region Settings.
To resolve this you must amend your Region Settings in Windows.
- Close all programs.
- Press the Windows key

+ R. - In the Open box, type intl.cpl then click OK.
The Formats tab opens automatically.
- Click the Administrative tab then click Change system locale.
- Clear the Beta: Use Unicode UTF-8 for worldwide language support check box then click OK.
- Restart your computer.
