Sage 50 Accounts - Recommended data limits

The recommended data limits for different areas of Sage 50 Accounts, such as transactions, records, invoices, and orders.

You can save as many transactions or records as your disk space allows. Here are some recommended upper limits to optimise the performance of your software.

NOTE: Specific limits depend on factors like data size, network speed, and number of concurrent users. For example, these limits can work well for a 2-user version of Sage Accounts on a high-spec network.

For optimal performance we recommend:

• Fewer than 250,000 transactions
• Fewer than 50,000 invoices
• Fewer than 50,000 sales orders
• Fewer than 50,000 purchase orders
• Fewer than 5,000 customer records
• Fewer than 5,000 supplier records
• Fewer than 20,000 product records
• Fewer than 2,000 project records

To check your records:

• Go to Help then About and the number of records appear in the Data Information section
