To help make sure your accounts are accurate and correct, you can use the Accounts audit option in Sage 50 Accounts to quickly check for sales and purchases posted with a non-standard tax code. Checking for non-standard codes will highlight transactions where an incorrect tax code may have been used, it's a useful routine to run before calculating your VAT Return.
We'll run you through how to use this audit option.
The Accounts audit window displays any sales and purchase invoices or credits which don't have the standard tax code. You can then check these transactions and amend them if the tax code used is incorrect.
