The Sage HR modules let you integrate workforce management and provides the tools you need to automate repetitive tasks. 

Give your employees instant and remote access to everything they need with an individual login to Sage HR. Control access by setting permission levels, to protect sensitive information.

NOTE: Sage HR is available as a standalone product or can be added alongside Sage HR Online Services, the free online payslips portal that comes with Sage 50cloud Payroll.



I have Sage HR Online Services, is that not Sage HR?

Not quite. Sage HR Online Services is the free online payslips portal that integrates with Sage 50cloud Payroll, where employees can log in and view their payslips and P60s online. Sage HR is just the HR modules listed below in this guide that help make your day to day HR processes much easier. You won't have the Sage HR modules until you choose to add them alongside your Online Services. The modules are totally optional to subscribe to, they are just there for you if and when you want to use them. Core Sage HR 

Key features of the Core Sage HR module:
  • Tasks -  quickly update colleagues on tasks that need doing or have been completed 
  • Dashboard - employees manage their dashboard, to view tasks, calendar, etc.
  • Employee profiles - view and edit profiles for every employee
  • Onboarding and offboarding - when employees are joining or leaving, be able to automate the process by assigning them various tasks from a predefined list
  • Recipes create custom workflows that are automated after specific actions are made



  • Company - view your company structure and employee directory
  • Documents - upload, share and view documents
  • Reports - various reports to get the information you need quickly, as well additional reports based on the modules you use.
  • Announcements compose internal company update posts that employees can interact with via emoji reactions and comments
  • Compensation - keep track of employees' current and historic salaries
  • Training - manage what training is required for your employees
  • Assets  - manage and keep track of your asset inventory
