How to enter your Sage Data Objects (SDO) serial number and activation key into third-party software

In Sage 50 Accounts v24.0 and below, you must enter a Sage Data Objects serial number and activation key before a third-party application can link to your accounts data.

In Sage 50 Accounts v24.1 and above, a Sage Data Objects serial number and activation key is no longer needed.

To find your Sage Data Objects activation information

For Sage Accounts v21 to v24.0, use the following serial number and activation keys:

To enter your Sage Data Objects activation information
NOTE: This option is not available in Sage 50 Accounts v25 and above.

1. On the menu bar click Tools then click Activation and click Enable 3rd Party Integration.
   
   

    If the Tools menu doesn't appear, log on to Sage Accounts using the MANAGER logon.
   
   

2. Enter your Sage Data Objects serial number and activation key then click Continue.
