'Failed to process Remote Server request' when running reports or layouts

Description

When running any report or layout in Sage 200, you may receive the following message:

Resolution

This is due to a setting in Report Designer being enabled in the Sage200Accounts data source.

To resolve the issue:

  1. Tools > Run Sage Report Designer
  2. Click on Data Sources
  3. Select Sage200Accounts and click "Remote"
  4. Untick the box “Connect to the Remote Report Server for this Data Source”
  5. Click OK > Close > Close > File > Exit

You will now be able to preview reports/layouts.
