Summary

How to amend an employee's pension contribution rates in Sage 50 Payroll.

Description

When you have multiple employees with the same pension scheme assigned to them, you can set different contribution rates for individual employees.

Resolution

  1. Select Employee, then double-click the required employee.
  2. Go to the Pensions tab then select Manage Schemes.
  3. Choose the required scheme then click Edit.
  4. Amend the rate as required in the fields beside Employer Contributionand Employee Contributions.
     NOTE: If required, you can also set a fixed amount contribution to contribute a set amount. 
  5. Select OK then Close.
  6. Select Save then Close.

The pension contribution for this employee now uses the new rates.
